The dog days of summer have more than sat in. Current water temperatures are running in the mid-90s. The bass is as tired as this hot weather as we are. A few fish are still being caught on the shallower ledges but the water quality is starting to disintegrate on the deeper ones forcing them to move shallow. A lot of fish are being caught on frogs in the lily pads first thing in the morning and some of the shallower brush piles up in the day. The lake Eufaula is starting to show some signs of improvement as days are getting shorter and a lot of fish are starting to school. If you’re in the right place at the right time you can really load the boat fast. As the days get even shorter and the nights get a little cooler the fishing will definitely improve each day going forward. After we get the first cold front things will really take off. You can catch some fish now if you get out there and grind it out and we will be glad to do that with you. Even with the tough conditions, we will do all we can do to put you on some fish. To me, fall fishing is better than spring. The Fall will book up fast so start booking now and reserve your spot As the Fall feeding frenzy is about to begin. We look forward to spending the day on the water with you! Book your Eufaula fishing guided trip today.
