Water temperatures are running in the low fifties. The majority of the lake is still pretty muddy with a few areas on the South end that are beginning to clear. The fish are as big as they will be for this year so your chances of catching a big one will be good for the next month or so. With the days getting longer the fish know its go time and are really wanting to move up and spawn. Most of the fish in the lake are shallow right now but that is more due to the muddy water than the water temps. Swim jigs, Chatterbaits, square bills, and rattle baits are doing most of the work right now. There was a tournament this past weekend and there were several bags over 20 lbs so the fishing is really starting to heat up. We are about to have a two weeks of stable weather so that should really kick things off. We are booking up fast so go on and put a deposit down for your Lake Eufaula fishing trip today so we can get out there and have a good time. I look forward to spending a day on the water with you. Tight lines!
