Current water temperatures are running from the low to mid-sixties. Lake Eufaula is muddy to a heavy stain due to the tremendous amount of rain we have had. There are pockets of clear water on the south end. A lot of fish are being caught in the hydrilla on the south end. Chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and square bill crankbaits seem to be working best if you are fishing that way. Main lake points and flats with ditches running through them can be good also especially if the bait is present. If you can pick your day and go as these cold fronts are approaching it can really be great out there. The fish are really starting to feed up for winter so the next four to six weeks should be really good.
If you are ready for a great trip then now is time to book with one of the lake Eufaula fishing guides.
