The water temps are running in the low to mid nineties which seems crazy but the fish are still biting pretty good. The amount of time they are active in a day is definitely going down in this hot hot weather but if you stay on the go and cover alot of water you can have some really nice days out there. Most of lake Eufaula fish are being caught in 22 to 24 foot and some as deep as 30. Carolina Rigs and Drop Shots are carrying 90 percent of the load right now and you just cant fish slow enough. If you can catch them generating power and moving the water that can really put the odds in your favor. Don’t let this heat keep you from booking a trip we keep plenty of water,Gatorade and other things along with moving around alot to try to ease the burden of these hot days.
