The fish have finally made it into their Summer patterns. Water temps are running in the upper 80’s. You can catch some nice fish right at and around daylight on swim jigs and frogs in the grass but as soon as the sun comes above the Treeline things really slow down. At that point the river ledges really heat up. The ledge fishing right now is as good as it gets. There are giant schools showing up out there each and every day. On The Ledges we’re catching them on a Carolina rig, football jig, 6xd crankbait and a drop shot. This week we have been averaging around 30. bass a trip. The weather is hot but the fishing Eufaula is even hotter so book your trip now before things start to slow down.
