The Crappie fishing on lake Eufaula has been outstanding this March. The water temps have been running around 65 to 70 degrees. Fish are being caught several different ways including longline trolling ,shooting docks and fishing brush piles and standing timberline in 10 to 20 feet of water. The fish have not spawned yet but should be getting real close ,the big females being caught are full of eggs. Minnows and jigs are both working with the best jigs colors for Eufaula Crappie is orange and red heads and dark colored jig bodies including fire and ice and junebug. April is one if not the best month to fish Lake Eufaula for big spawning Crappie. Come on down to Lake Eufaula and catch some slabs!
